What to Expect On Your Charter

Below are a few questions we frequently receive about our yacht charters.

Are yacht charters safe?

Your safety is our highest priority. All of our vessels are rigorously maintained and inspected for your safety on a regular basis. Each yacht is equipped with safety equipment and first aid kits on board. Please reach out to us before your trip if you have any allergies or specific medical requirements.

How many passengers are allowed on the charter?

Each charter is allowed a maximum of 12 passengers per federal coast guard regulations with no exceptions.

What is included in a full-day yacht charter?

Each full-day charter to Sandbar & the Miami Islands includes a beautifully furnished yacht complete with crew, fuel at local cruising speeds, water toys, soft drinks, water, ice, and more.

What time does my trip depart?

For a full day charter (6-8 hours) you can select any timeslot. 4-hour charters can start at either 10 am or 3 pm based on availability.

What if there is hazardous weather at the time of my departure?

Cancelation with full credit will be offered in the case of a named tropical storm or hurricane

Can I bring my food and alcohol onboard?

Of course! We want you to have a good time on your charter, crew will be glad to serve your food and drinks during the charter. We also offer catering, chef services, and special beverage delivery.

** No red wine or red beverages are allowed onboard.

Can I listen to my music onboard?

All of our yachts are equipped with premium stereo systems that will allow you to connect most devices to play your music using Bluetooth.

 

Do you offer last minute charters?

To better assist you with last-minute charter requests, please give one of our helpful team members a call. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full credit will be offered in case if the charter is canceled 10 days prior charter date with written notice (email is acceptable).

Do I need a credit card to board the yacht?

Yes, please have the credit card and matching ID with you when you are ready to board.

When is payment due?

Full payment is required 10 days before the charter. Any payments that exceed $4,000 are payable by Zelle, wire, or bank transfer. Full payment must clear on or before the charter date.

Are there any additional charges I should be aware of?

Additional fuel, any food/beverage, dockage, and landing fees may apply. Sales tax of 7% and a gratuity of 15-20% will be added to your total.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We love animals but discourage bringing them along for their safety. Reach out to us if you have a special request regarding your pet.

Are children allowed on the yacht?

Children are allowed on the charter and are counted towards the 12 passenger limit regardless of their age. All passengers under the age of 12 are required to wear a life jacket at all times on the yacht.

What should I not bring?
  • No red wine or red color beverages and food are allowed.
  • No glitter or dyed clothing that may damage upholstery is allowed.
  • No self-tanning lotions are allowed.
  • No open flames or flammable materials are allowed including BBQ equipment and hookahs.

Charterer is responsible for any damage to interior, flooring, carpet or upholstery.

Do you offer Jet Skis?

Absolutely! We work with licensed and insured vendors to provide top-of-the-line jet skis and water sports equipment. Jet ski rentals will be delivered to the yacht at the sandbar. Jet ski rentals must be arranged 48 hours before departure.

Keep in mind that per Florida Law, any person under the age of 32 must complete a National Association of State Boating Law Administration (NASBLA) approved boating education course permit or obtain a temporary boating education certificate to use a jet ski.
