OUR STORY
Few yachting companies are willing to share their inside story. But then again, we’re not like most yachting companies..
The year was 2020, and the established luxury travel supplier Regal Wings was on pace for its best year in history.
Then the pandemic struck, all international borders shut down, and Regal Wings was suddenly faced with this brutal reality: pure losses totalling in the millions, and a single, burning question..
Where do we go from here?
Regal Yachts was born both of the need to pivot and as a result of three emerging travel trends:
Domestic travelers were no longer traveling internationally, but rather were seeking to experience and rediscover America through a new lens.
One of the hottest (literally and figuratively) destinations for this rediscovery was South Florida, both for North Americans as well as for international travelers coming into the states.
The luxury yacht offered a more controlled environment and thus a higher degree of safety from the virus relative to many other premium vacation experiences available to consumers.
With our expansion into the luxury yachting space, Regal Yachts is proud to offer both consumers and retail travel advisors more options for the luxury traveler.
